Please read the following news and clear my doubts, if possible:

1) Can services of a govt servant be taken for unofficial personal/ party's work?

2) Will all the 300 MPs be paid by the Govt for those 2 months or will they be on leave without pay?

3) Is it not a misuse of govt resources for the benefit of a political party? Please note that none of the MPs will be contesting elections.

4) BJP did not do so during elections of other states. Does BJP fear AAP in Delhi? or has cong emerged as strong competitor overnight?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the BJP banks on Brand Modi to sweep the Delhi Assembly elections, as many as 300 BJP MPs will be in the city over the next two months to oversee poll preparations and ensure the party maintains its winning streak in the Capital.

"All the MPs will be here for the next two months or so and will conduct several public meetings. The idea is to ensure that each MP reaches out to a maximum number of people from their regions and people from different communities. Their complete role in the Delhi elections will be decided by Amit Shahji, who has called a meeting of all the state functionaries on November 18," said a senior BJP leader.

To counter the reach of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as well as micro-managing the party's election campaign, the BJP state unit has been asked to conduct at least 2,700 meetings in the coming two months. "The meetings could be with only 100 people in an area where we have a weaker presence or the seats which have traditionally not been out strongholds," said a senior leader. more

Thanks Bhagatji for appreciating my post. more
Let us not be bothered about what BJP does to improve their chances of victory in Delhi. It is natural for them to put in their best efforts in that direction. In the process if they misuse their official positions or Govt. machinery, we should make it a point to expose such misuse. That in any case is what AAP stands for and has come into being to fight against. I have immense trust in people's judgement and their will to cleanse the systems, that they will make their judgement intelligently. We should only concentrating to taking our mission to the people and expose such corruption. more
deploying all the 300 MPs for campaigning in Delhi election is one type of corruption at large scale being they are paid from Consolidated fund of India without doing any work for the nation, but for a political party. This will also paralysis the public transport system and misuse of Delhi police for protecting them instead of protecting the innocent people for which they are employed. At present a huge money is spent on advertisement through print media as well as TV channels/radio, but no one is going to answer that from where that huge amount is coming? It proves that he/they are trying to make all of us (people) fool as much as they can do. It is very very bad for our democracy and nation. more
