Do you plan to buy Woodland shoes. Here is a customer whose shoes got defective within the warranty period. At the time of purchase the customer was offered to replace the shoes if it goes defective within warranty period. The customer has handed over the shoes for replacement on 27th November 2014 and is struggling since then to get hs shoes back. The outlets have now even stopped talking to the customer. I had visited public domain to find out the feedback of buyers of woodland shoes. I find many such complaints. Some of the feedback are quoted:
"I purchased a pair of woodland shoes from DLF Saket's outlet for Woodland on the 19th of July 2014. The Lycra on the same started to come off within a month due to which I returned it for repairs at the V3S mall, outlet for Woodland at its Laxminaagar location. I returned the product somewhere in the middle of August. A representative from the Laxminagar outlet calls me after 3 weeks and tells me that I would have to purchase another product of the same value on which I would have to pay additional VAT refusing which I would neither get the cash amount nor would I get the shoes back...."
"I purchased woods shoes from woodland showroom linking road Mumbai before 03 months i noticed there are cracks occurring in sole of shoes i submitted the shoes return to store as it was within warranty period and showroom people was kind enough to accept my claim.I got an sms within 15 days that my shoes is repaired and can collect it from woodland showroom. Poor me was not knowing how I am gonna get fooled by them I reached show room to collect my shoes they said that they can repair it and head office has accept the defect and they are offering me claim of my full amount ie INR 3895 which for which I purchased the shoes now when I checked the available stock the same shoes now they are selling INR 5895 on asking why is this price difference they informed that now there is no discount on shoes. MY question are- Why was i handed over the defected piece? Why my shoes was not replaced? Why i am not getting same percentage of discount again when i am suffering due to damage in your product? If above cannot be honoured why are you not refunding my money back? -Deeksith Shetty"
"I bought wood land shoes Size 10, khaki around Rs.2500 from a woodland show room in Marthahalli street Bangalore. i have used them hardly 5 to 6 times. Now the sole of both left and right shoes are damaged, cracking at the stitches with leather.The leather and sole is getting detached. "

Yes, if Mr. Customer/V.K. Virmani has receipt for purchase of Woodland shoes and also for the return of shoes for replacement at V3S Mall, Woodland Outlet, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. He should also get in writing that only refund is possible and replacement can not be done by company, either from V3S Mall Woodland outlet or from company. more  
It is a fit case to file in consumer court. more  
Yes, file a case. If all aggrieved customers file cases in consumer court against this company, they will be unable to take this much public pressure. more
