आप’ की असफलता भारतीय प्रजातंत्र का काला दिन- Article in Navbharat Times
यह सर्वमान्य सिद्ध है कि राजनेता या ताकत के पीछे भागने वाले लोग मनोवैज्ञानिक रूप से रुग्ण होते हैं। आत्महीनता की ग्रंथी से ग्रस्त लोग ही अधिकतर राजनेता बनते हैं। जो कुछ नहीं कर सकता वह राजनीति करता है। और भारतीय प्रजातंत्र में तो घोषित अपराधी राजनेता हैं। हर पार्टी के उम्मीदवारों की अच्छी-खासी संख्या खतरनाक अपराधियों से भरी पड़ी है, जिन पर हत्या, बलात्कार, लूट-खसोट और अनेक तरह के गैर-कानूनी कामों के इल्जाम हैं वे राजनीति में है, सांसद भी बन जाते हैं, मंत्री भी बन जाते हैं, पार्टी के अध्यक्ष भी बन जाते हैं...!
सहमती, असहमती अपनी जगह है लेकिन यह बात स्पष्ट है कि 'आप' पार्टी में पहली बार वे लोग आए जो राजनीति के नहीं थे, मतलब रुग्ण नहीं थे। अच्छे पढ़े-लिखे, कलाकार, सोचने-समझने वाले लोगों ने मिलकर प्रयास किया। लेकिन देश की दो दिग्गज पार्टियों कांग्रेस और बीजेपी के होते इन भले लोगों का मैदान में डटे रहना आसान नहीं था और लगता है कि अपराधियों ने भले लोगों को मैदान से बाहर फेंक दिया है।
इस देश की लगभग अशिक्षित भीड़ ने शिक्षित उम्मीदवारों की जगह अपराधियों को चुनने में देर नहीं की। यदि पढ़े-लिखे, विचारशील, कलाकार, लेखक, पत्रकार, चिंतन-मनन करने वाले, ईमानदार और अपराधों से बहुत दूर रहने वाले भले लोग छंटे हुए राजनेताओं से हार जाते हैं तो यह प्रजातंत्र की सबसे बड़ी हार है।
मैंने भारतीय प्रजातंत्र का कभी सम्मान नहीं किया। यहां पर तो भीड़ चाल (भेड़ चाल)चलती है। कभी कांग्रेस के नाम पर तो कभी मोदी के नाम पर, भेड़ें, भेड़ें ही होती हैं...हजारों सालों से इस देश की ये मूढ़ भीड़ लूटती रही और यह क्रम आज भी चल रहा है।
समय-समय पर अस्तित्व ने इस देश को अवसर दिये कि अपनी बिगड़ी किस्मत को सुधार ले, लेकिन भीड़, भेड़ें समझ पाती तो आज यह देश कुछ और ही होता...।
आप पार्टी का असफल होना...आधुनिक भारत की बदकिस्मती ही कहा जायेगा...भले लोग अपराधियों से फिर हार गये...! more

Sunil Dutt ji it is very very interesting and true article. Really we Indian do not use our own brain to choose our leader. We choose corrupt and criminals because we have no options. AAP projected itself as a option and also got some success in first instance. I hope it will got success. Take an example of impact of ANNA revolution and AAP revolution in the politics as well as in society/other countries. Very true Ajit Datt ji. Rather BJP govt's approach suggests that it has further promoted corruption which is evidenced by the reward which Mr. JP Nadda has got yesterday (he is now health minister) for removing Mr. Sanjiv Chaturvedi for exposing a dozen corruption matters. Another case is removal of Mr. H K Jethi, an anti-graft officer in MCI for exposing corruption. Mr. Giriraj who pleased Mr. Modi by saying "Those who oppose Mr. Modi have no right to live in India and they must go to the Pakistan" also become minister. Governance model of BJP is evidenced by the fact that after expansion of ministry, no of minister with criminal background now stand increased. more

People have seen almost six months of BJP in Delhi. Agreed, six months is not sufficient time to judge the performance of any party! But 6 months is enough time to show intent. Unfortunately BJP in Delhi has not indicated that they are a no nonsense party, and if elected in Delhi, they will deliver on the basics-corruption & good governance? Rather the impression they conveyed was of a party running scared of facing the electorate because of the unpredictable AAP factor!? So AAP must get another chance in Delhi?! more
