Respected PM Shri Narendra Modiji,

I Satheesha M S Bhatta, from Sringeri, Karnataka humbly request you to end the present tax terrorism in India. At present all the tax laws are too much complicated with several loopholes and lacuna and it is extremely difficult to understand for the common business man. And it has given too much power to officials without any sever punishment to them if they assess wrongly.

Even though we comply with all tax liabilities, the officials simply send show-cause notices with huge tax demands by wrong calculations (Even many officials doesn't know the exact interpretation of tax laws) and simply demand a huge bribe to drop the tax demands which were wrongly demanded.
Because of such harassment many honest business people will lose confidence for continuing the business. I am also into the business since last 28 years but now i am thinking of stopping the business mainly because of above reasons.

My Humble request with you is please Abolish all direct and indirect taxes and introduce the simple "Banking Transaction Tax" as proposed by "Arthkranthi" (a nominal tax on all bank credits) and engage all your tax officials, charted accountants, etc into monitoring the banking transactions to collect the tax as required. This will enable to free all business entities to concentrate on their business which is essential to the growth of India instead of scratching their head in these tax complains in this competitive world. Energy of many of the people such as tax officials, charted accountants, tax consultants, lawyers, etc which has to be utilized for productive purpose.

Thanking you.
with kind regards.
SATHEESHA M S BHATTA.
Sringeri, Karnataka.
