Skill India Mission-Empanelment of Vendors
An unbiassed selection and empanelment of training Vendors,Consultants to be done to achieve the overall mission of NSDC towards:
(i) Institutional Training, (ii) Infrastructure, (iii) Convergence, (iv) Trainers, (v) Overseas Employment, (vi) Sustainable Livelihoods, (vii) Leveraging Public Infrastructure
thereby achieveing its mission accomplishment-viz.To rapidly scale up skill development efforts in India, by creating an end-to-end,
outcome-focused implementation framework,which aligns demands of the employers for a well-trained skilled workforce with
aspirations of Indian citizens for sustainable livelihoods.
1.Empanelment of training vendors in their respective categories
2.Developing a network of quality instructors/trainers in the skill development ecosystem by establishing high quality teacher training institutions.-Train the Trainer institutes
3.Leveraging existing public infrastructure and industry facilities for scaling up skill training and capacity building efforts
4.Offering a passage for overseas employment through specific programmes mapped to global job requirements and benchmarked to international standards
5.Enabling pathways for transitioning between the vocational training system and the formal education system, through a credit transfer system.
An unbiased 3rd party independent agnecy to be deputed by the Ministry to audit,monitor all aspects of these Skill Development Centers,empanellment of these vendors,consultants etc.
