School Buses - Request schools to reduce the charges
These schools charge transportation cost which is very high and parents find this as an opportunity to save the money. Some do car pooling, some drop using auto services etc and i am one among them. Just for curiosity i counted number of cars one day and to my surprise the number was more than 200. Imagine the number of these schools in Noida . For simple calculation, i am taking only 25 school
= 200 (cars) * 1(ltr petrol)*20days(month)*25(schools) *12 months= 12 lac liter
That means 12L lit petrol is consumed in one city. Imagine whole of India.
If school buses reduce the fee, without thinking any profit on this service( anyways these people earn lot on other charges) which i think they can afford, crores of liter petrol can be saved. The small sacrifice of school management will help lot in reducing the pollution and consumption of petrol.
