Manipulation and Cheating by Ticket Chekers
While Dropping my Uncle at Old Delhi Railway Station around 1st week of August, I observed 7-8 persons travelling from Bihar were caught and forced to pay Fine and Penalty - Reason - they were travelling from some station before Patne to Ghaziabad and paid Tkt fare of Rs.369.00 each, probably they could not visualize or were late to get off the train at GZBD and then got off at Delhi Station.
Their Crime was they travelled as without tkt from GZBD to Delhi - I confronted the TC and said be human , if they can buy a tkt of Rs. 369, they would not have paid any extra in this amount had they wanted to get down at Delhi, it is simply by mistake.
But it was Shameless they were forced to pay Rs.10. as Tkt + Rs.250. as fine - are we living in a civilized society OR these Govt officials are there to Trick , Cheat and Manipulate for the Revenue generation.
Railways will never come up if their staff has this attitude. They have no respect for Passengers.

I am not strengthening your signature campaign as the TTE has done his duty . High time we the travelers realize that the rules of the Railways be adhered to .
This forum has brought out so many violations performed by the TTE's collecting money and pocketing for allotting berths seats out of turn for passengers as a result the the legitimate is deprived of his chance .
If we raise a voice or campaign against this TTE for doing his duty diligently following the rules , that will demoralize even the few honest ones to turn corrupt . more
