Thane Municipal Corporation

I live in a prominent housing society on Ghodbunder road. I find street dogs & owned dogs are the biggest nuisence.They defecate on roads. Dog owners who are so called "high class" people allow their dogs to just do it. So called "animal welfare" activists stop the municipality people from catching the dogs to sterilise them. I just hate walking on yhe rosds. I suggest TMC should hold them accountable for the defecation. Heavy penalty like singapore shoild be imposed. Dog owners should carry cleaning material & stray dog lovers should be asked to adopt or pay to municipality.

I had been trying to get the public street repaired in upper Kolshet and make the area swatch since 10 Jun 2014 but no action has been taken by TMC inspite writting several letters/mails and liaisioning by phone.CE of Tmc visited the the area however No fund available is the answer given orally and through letters.Written to thaneforthright@dnaindia.net and awaiting results.My Mob 09820969262

"Swachcha Bharat Mission" ... we have lots of hopes that none of the foreigners would have a chance to take a photo to show the poverty / uncleanliness in India. However, we are sorry to say, this dream doesn't sound to be happening in next 5 years. we are not happy with the cleanliness in Thane. We are stay in a complex of around 15 multi-story buildings. Everyone is complaining about nuisance caused due to RATs.
We have tried multiple solutions but no improvements. We had put "glue pad" and we got four rats on one pad ...
There is a open drainage, slums around us. Due to this open drainage there are lots of mosquitoes with the threat of Malaria.
No one, including police officials follow the traffic rules, people still proceed even on the RED signal and traffic police officials are not doing anything.
I hope and I am positive there must be few people who are like-minded and would take this mission forward.
At least I make sure not to overrule the signal, no matter who all honk at me. :-(
Let us follow good things, others would follow us. Let us lead by example.

TMC is having full of lazy people.

Thane Municipal Corp is long way from the ratings so far, we see their staff are absolutely lazy in terms of cleaning the roads, footpaths. Only in good localities & market places where they get tips we see them working for a while. The contractors are hand in glove with the officials and never audited for the services rendered. Roads from my childhood are patch worked never completed or leveled; no wonder Thaneites visit Doctors & Clinics every often for all kinds of diseases including major spondylisis etc. TMC never directs State Transport Corp or Railway authorities to keep their stations, yards clean? Why? They are the major sources of disease transmitters. Not a single garden in Thane is neat & clean; where do we take our children to play? Grounds ? Where are the grounds left? Are they maintained? You can't even complain to anybody as the access offered to the citizens is metered by TMC now; you just cannot enter from any gate to TMC office; you have to butter up somebody and with several stupid visits you may be advised to come some other day to discuss if they fancy. It's worst for the tax paying citizens they just have to remain on mercy of fancies of TMC administrators on water, cleanliness, stupid parking rules ( no vehicle is lifted or locked for police or corporators and sundry officials, they can park anywhere at will it's their Rajya). So many things can be written here without giving rating by an ordinary citizens like us. Am hundred percent sure; all this falls on deaf ears.
