The service roads meant for two wheelers are very inconvenient and examples of very shoddy work. There are many 'newly' constructed service roads those are now rendered pothole full patches. There is no way one can switch between highway and service road without having serious damage to shock absorbers.

Near Hypercity signal, there is a part of service road where a new business is flourishing. There is this one manhole just outside petrol pump on Highway and service road, which is without the safety grill on it. Everyday 3-4 cars in end up one wheel in that manhole and during night and rains. There is a towing service that charges anywhere between 400 to 800 rupees for pulling them out of the manhole. This is going on for three months. The manhole is also used as washing pit for washing utensils etc for food stalls.

On the same signals now traffic police has prohibited entry from one side. leaving commuters to take 2.5km long turn from Vendant Hospital. There are alright some gangways where it appears that one can switch between the highway and service road, but the service road is so low comparing to the highway and the concrete slab that there have been 3-4 cases of cars breaking their axle and two wheelers fallen because it looks that the gangway might have ramp at the concrete slab and service road, but its too late by the time they see there is hardly any ramp. Then there are garages right at the spots those charge huge amount for repair. I have seen one Enfield rider who got his front wheel rim getting damaged because of this.

The Service Road along the Ghodbunder Road start breaking just within 01 months of its constructions. There are no public convenience all along the road. Increased traffic on Ghodbunder road is becoming challenge for driving and waste of time. There should be a bypass for all Trucks entering from Gujrat Highway to Nasik Highway.

Its very pathetic to note that public convenience is zero in our city. Everywhere u go there is filth, roads are not maintained, no footpaths, absolutely no place for pedestrians to walk. Now that the monsoons are over, roads are again dug up, god knows for what.

The narrow roads are becoming more congested because of more number of car parking and hawkers. The garbage collection by TMC is too poor. The narrow LBS Marg has become narrower because of digging operation is going. Pot holes near Fire Brigade at Kapurbavdi is very high. In whose benefit the Navaratra festival is permitted at Jamli naka to Tembhi naka? The whole city chokes up , TMC service become worst because of heavy traffic Jam. With greater public interest , the roads must be cleared for any occasion.
