has improved in last two years, few issues still remain
1. two baggage check points long adequate on Ajmeri gate side. Long Q is routine. create one more platform entry point.
2. The direct entrance to metro from Ajmeri gate side is now a days not allowed by home-guards sitting at he entrance for last 6 mo. this is very unfair. if the other exit points of the metro are not popular, it not the fault of commuters. now one has walk at least 100 -150 yrads more for the metro entry. this should be rectified.
3. train signages are often wrongly displayed for less important trains and trains a often placed just 10-15 min before departure. There should be publicly announced uniform policy. A 20 min time on platform is adequate.

Believe me delhi is the worst among metropolitan stations.
I feel sorry when i see the maintenance on the platforms. Lots of foreighners travelled through prestigious trains, all platforms except no 1 all are poorly maintained.

New Delhi station must need escalators or ramp on every platform. Just like Nagpur and Bhopal station. So that it helps for every people. On side steps n other side escalator / ramp.

New Delhi Station was expected to be the best in the country but it is no where near the expectation. There are no escalators and senior citizen had to take a long walk for going from Ajmeri Gate side to Platform No.2. It is usually crowded both inside and out side the station. One could find people sitting on foot bridges and steps adding to vows of harassed passengers with trolleys.
