Mumbai Municipal Corporation

The Mumbai Municipal Corp in Mumbai is an absolutely useless corporation filled with thieves in the name of corporators & MPs. Slum dwellers are their vote banks and hence no strict action is taken against them. Slums on pavement of wadala bridge are not only unhygienic but hazardous to the general pedestrian as well as motorists. They have built their huts on the pavement and they also block half of the road by burning wood, cooking, bathing, defecating on it. There is no place for pedestrians to walk during peak traffic hours nor is there place for traffic to move smoothly. Recently the pavements have been repaired and these slum dwellers have got new flooring for their huts. The local corporator/MP of this ward does not have any strong will to remove them. Also garbage on Shaikh Mistry Road near Indian Oil Corp is overflowing & BMC does not collect the same.

In Andheri East Kondivita Lane & adjoining Akruti Centre Lane the roads are always unclean. The muncipality workers are seen only once a week. After cleaning they don't take away the dirt, instead they throw it into the already overflowing garbage bins. The garbage collected from societies by the garbage collectors is thrown into the 3 huge garbage bins on the road & not taken away. The garbage bins pickup is also done only once a week that too only half of the garbage is picked up.

Garbage packed in black bags is dumped on Carter Road in the parking area along side the promenade. This garbage is not removed every day. Garbage dumping in these areas should not be allowed.

At Marol -Kishanlal Marwah Road opp. Ashok Towers, garbage collection is done whimsically, more as a favour

AT BABULNATH THEY PICK UP ALMOST EVERY DAY BUT LANE OPP. K.M. MUNSHI MARG ALL VENDORS & VAGRANT THEY MAKE STREET DIRTY IT IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HOSPITAL.CONSTRUCTION SIGHT HAS BASEMENT OF TWO STOREIES FULL OF DIRTY WATER AND IS RESONS FOR MOSQUITOES IN AREA.
