The odd customer ID needs to be remembered each time one has to login online account or call their customer service. Very inconvenient. During switch to MICR Checkbooks, every bank sent a fresh book, except for IDBI. As per RBI ruling if debit card has been used overseas, it must have Chip. IDBI never bothered to send it. I think I still have a dormant account with them!

Senior Citizens PO / Bank scemes

Senior citizens who do not get pension have to depend on their meager retirement benefits and interest earned on them. But, now the interest rates on SCSS and MIS have been drastically reduced putting extreme hardship on senior citizens. Please revise the interest rates to senior citizens to at least 10 %. Also think of giving additional ad hoc amount every month to pension-less senior citizens. Matter urgent. Finance ministry has put us in lurch in these days of growing cost of living.
