DTDC in Calicut, never deliver the consignment in address.. they need us to get it from Thier office, even within 1.5 km from Thier office. I'm specifically noting this with the Malaparamba branch of DTDC same is the case in this area

We booked an international parcel on 6th Nov. 2015 with stuff to used by my daughter in UK. The online tracking kept showing the status as "In transit" till 16th Nov. We kept on calling the office about the status besides online tracking.
The packet was actually delivered to opposite shop on 11th Nov. (the Shop person is unknown to my daughter). No intimation on her flat door. No telephonic communication though the number was on the packet. The Diwali stuff got spoiled. Other items are also damaged. The Diwali gift a Fastrack wrist watch worth 2600 rupees not repairable. Total damages of more than 15000/- rupees besides courier charges of 3960/-.
