Please make GST a good & simple tax. Remove provision of Input Tax Credit which is a window for massive frauds in hundreds of crores. Instead of trying to catch fraudsters provision of ITC should be removed. New GST rates without ITC can be implemented to ensure that Customer of finished product is charged a reasonable amount of tax. Suggested rates 0% for exempted Goods& Services, 5% for all G&S and 15% for Luxury G&S. GST of 18% on Cement, Biodegradable packing materials, Cooperative Hsg. Societies, RWA, TV viewing does not make sense. Removal of ITC will reduce number of Returns to be filed and overall make compliance simple. All businesses, shopkeepers etc. should register under GST irrespective of annual turnover.
Make a panel consisting of CAs, Business men, Shopkeepers etc. to assist Ministry of Finance in deciding GST rates and compliance procedures to mage GST a truly good and simple tax as promised by PM.

Poor and pathetic are much respectable words for Revenue Department.

We need to see more govt babus and politicians who are corrupt punished and all their assets frozen and given back to the state. We don't want to see suspension but they should be immediately fired and striped of all benefits. These are the rot that is killing our economy and our society. We also have a lot of people in the name of caste, community, class etc cheating and robbing this country. We need stricter policies and processes. For e.g. Every farmer who claims that his loan needs to be waived - does anyone check is he is a farmer in the first place, what the loan was used for and did he really lose anything. This is our resources and should not be given away as freebies for political reasons.
