The dept needs to be modernized and the training and manpower needs to be set to a higher standard. They need to be given the best equipment and facilities to be able to do their job. They also need the support of the govt to do their job. If they are involved in corruption, anti India activities, crimes etc punishment should be the maximum and swift.
