We must strive for Zero tolerance for dumping any kind of waste onto the roads and side walks. There should be heavy fines imposed on offenders/ violators

BBMP has to ensure that Garbage thrown by shops is cleared regularly. This does not happen Instead, shops dump their Garbage in the street corner. When individual house owners/ residents see this, it becomes convenient for them to add their Garbage to it. Then the chore becomes bigger. Suggest, BBMP arranges regular clearing of recyclable waste and Residents jointly put up a suitable OWC to treat their own Wet Waste.

Well the BMC team needs to take a stock of what is happening around their individual wards. During the last incessant rain , it was a flood like situation every where . Lot of accidents and the official did not have any apathy to what was happening. When the road transport minister recently visited Bangalore he or his department should reach out to the people council and it is they who needs to decide on the location. The so called recent election has not proved anything to any one. The wards needs to managed by efficient administrators and not some one who has the clout and runs it on his whims and fancies. All new laid down roads in the outer ring road localities are taken over by the local truck mafias who rules the road. It is due to the heavy truck movement that the roads are going bad. Any telecom vendor has got the right to dig any road and they work like hand in gloves with all the authorities around. All these issues leads to bad roads.

Now coming to garbage and utilities , the situation is very bad and pathetic. Any one can dump garbage on the roads after midnight. Government should collect cess charge from every building under the Corporation and ensure that the segregated garbage given to the responsible authorities. If garbage is not given then the building should be charged another cess for got giving it to the authorities. This might not be a floor proof way , but could be a way.

Road cleaning is good in my Koramangala areally of Bangalore. The main menace is the dog poop which makes the foot paths unusable and the streets generally an eyesore. If BMC can do something about it then the foot paths would be really usable and the streets clean in general. Solution should include stray dogs management and also dog owner managemento.

The municipal corporation right from top to bottom is fully corrupt and they know only one thing and is how to loot. The roads are full of pot holes, garbage strewn every where, stray dog menace, just to name a few.
