Why harassment of Indians travelling abroad

So taxpayers must justify every foreign trip with documents, bank statements, PAN details, invitations, and even who travelled with them. And let me be clear, I am not saying the Income Tax Department shouldn’t send such notices. But why can’t they show the same interest and enthusiasm when it comes to corporate cronies and loan defaulters? more

Indians are being asked for excessive documents overseas mainly because of rising visa fraud, overstays, illegal migration, tax mismatches, and global insecurity. A small minority’s misuse has led to every Indian facing extra scrutiny, creating the feeling of harassment for genuine, law-abiding travellers. more

Wouldn’t it be easier if they coordinated with the visa-issuing authority on visa-related issues? Or, alternatively, tracked this at the airport during boarding—since they already scan everything thoroughly, why not include this as well? more

this decision is taken by buerocracy with out knowing the impact. in modern day sim binding with whatsapp is not necessary. it seems the buerocracy have made some money from telcom companies. more
