Who's Gurgaon is it anyway
I wonder who actually is responsible for upkeepment of Gurgaon sectors? Basic requirements like good road, sewer disposal, storm water drainage, street lighting etc are a distant dream. HUDA is indifferent, MCG is hopeless & inefficient regarding these issues. it is strange that MCG has shamelessly collected house tax with arrears (withdrew rebate) but has not done anything for residents. We, the residents, don't know why do we accept this situation lying down. I feel that as a protest to this injustice it is high time that citizens start socially boycotting officials working in those departments. Those who do not perform their duties that they are paid for, need to hide their face from the society.

I agree about social activism, mr virendra. MCG also wamts participation of the citizens and suggestions and directions from them. They are short of people and so citizens must form social groups and be ready to play their part. Hopefully we will soon have composting sites provided by them. Then its our job to segregate our waste into green, solid , sanitary and electronic. We should talk about it to our neighbours and society members and get into the mindset of doing so. Wet waste from our colonies/societies has to be yhen transferred to the nearest site. Many societies in gurgaon are already responsibly disposing their waste by composting their wet waste. Some are even doing it individually. Lets do what WE must. Next ......on my list would be a way for our community to start reusing all the plastic bags we get and circulating the extra ones among us ...... And same with cardboard cartons. more

Socoal activism is the only way to to force Govt.agencies to adopt positive & helping attitude. Secondly entry of all touts to any public dealing office should be totally banned. more

The issues be lighted in all platforms i.e. facebook, new papers of wide cìrculation, pmo, cm office regularly to draw wide attention, compelling the department concerned to initiate and take fitting action, to take the ineffective, inefficient official to task, to review their approach, attitude, practice and policies with people' s participation. The callous approach of all govt organisations/ departments has culminated in our country since independence owing to their immunity. The general impression is carried that govt service is for enjoyment than public service. Many a time this is result of mis management, unprofessional approach/ handling of govt business, red tapizem, lack of dymanism. The things need to be revolutionised. All visual images be uploaded for information of all concerned. Be part of the system. more
