It is not the problem of one colony but of many, including Orchid Island.
No doubt there are some residents who act as Animal Lovers. But if they are so, they must take to their homes and keep as pets.
But they want to be considered as Animal Lovers without taking the responsibilities.

This "problem" is an upstart problem which has infested new habitations like the one in question. The problem is one of warped attitudes. In India community animals have, and will always co-exist and everyone including Mr Haque has lived for the greater part of their lives with stray animals. No animal except man causes harm without reason. And in the case of stray dogs even if provoked they tend to run away. Unfortunately, animals cannot speak for themselves and people are intrinsically evil. Regardless, what Haque posits is ignorant, intolerance, alarmist and against the law. more

Absolutely agree that dogs are a serious problem. Even looking at the problem as an animal lover, one feels really sorry for the way they are allowed to breed and starve. The best way to solve this problem is for the MCG to carry out an effective and comprehensive sterilisation drive. Once the population of stray dogs is contained, one can look at humane solutions for the existing population which will in time dwindle. more

Sir, the worst thing is their potty. We will urge to pet lover to "LET YOUR PET DOG NOT LITTERS THE ROAD, VACATE PLOT AND PARK BY POTTY". I am really suffering from my neighbours who are not behaving well when we asked to STOP it. more
