What should the next Government do with RERA: Feedback Sought

The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA) came into effect nationwide from May 1, 2017. In the last 24 months many of you have shared experiences on how it has worked/not worked on the ground. On whther your state has implemented it well or diluted it. As the next Government takes charge within the next 30 days, we seek your specific inputs on how RERA should be modified for better implementation and accountability

Do share your inputs. Once we have all the inputs, we will take them up with the next Government so RERA can be appropriately modified..

Strict follow of DTCP , UDA norms of Earthen Setbacks ; Harvesting Pits SAVE WATER, Environment too.
OPEN SPACE left for Parks, Bus Shelters, etc WHICH HAD BEEN GRABBED/ OCCUPIED shall be Seized for public utilities. more  
I think RERA is yielding results.It should take atleast 5 more years to remove Black Money from Property Market and then the rates will fall and stabilise. more  
RERA must be made user friendly for small and individual land/property owners as all the laws in a developing economy and pro-citizen democracy must be measured by their public friendliness. more  
Builder should sell flats through the government and even mortagage must be arranged by government .The GST due can be recovered from the people and legal responsibility will be with the government to the consumer. more  
RERA should do a financial audit /forensic audit of all builder. Must given power to recover money from builder. more
