What Haryana needs
Gurgaon 25 years ago was a small town of no consequence.
In 2014, regardless of a highly faulty planning, done in driblets, is verging into an urban expanse of 1200 sq. kms. It will in time get christened, the Gurgaon-Manesar Urban complex. It will grow to be geographically, as large as Delhi...BUT, may be even more complex to manage, because it is growing haphazardly.
No one at the State or District levels is, minding the store of this massive growth.
Currently, there is continuing confusion between *MCG, HUDA and the Builders in building/expanding new areas of plotted housing colonies, and the high rise gated apartment buildings, managed by the Builders, and the hundreds of RWAs. To be brief: managing the key services, even in an area of 100 sq. kms. is highly inefficient -- water, electricity, sanitation, sewage & garbage management, security, traffic, health care, education, communications, etc. etc., are all a problem for the authorities. Till date nothing appears to have settled down. Lack of insightful planning, leadership to manage Urban Local Bodies and an amazing shortage of staff in ALL departments, remains a problem, seemingly insurmountable.
We see the example of Delhi having MULTI Municipal Corporations; similar ought to be the strategy for a growing/expanding, Gurgaon, as a part of the National Capital Region. (NCR). We have had the luxury of 25 years growth, which may get reduced in further, fast growth to 10--15 years, till 2030 and beyond.........
Lack of capacity has become an oft-quoted reason for HUDA to stay put in Gurgaon, and not hand over charge to MCG. (The State must decide, sooner the better, if municipal capacity and responsibilities have to be reinforced.)
As per the 74 th Amendment of the Constitution effected by the Parliament in 1992, Gurgaon should get greater autonomy and support, from the State authorities. The city and district has the ability to create a revenue of 40-45 % of the State of Haryana, as at present !
Haryana and the growing Gurgaon/Manesar Urban complex have a great future ahead. More inputs and ideas from within the LocalCircles will move us forward.

First of all both authority must be corruption free. Secondly all employee's correct contact details should be on web site. If they changed their contact no. must be updated immediately otherwise impose some fine. more
