Way Forward on anti terrorism

India has decided that any future act of terror will be considered an Act of War against India and will be responded accordingly.

As movement begins towards de-escalation, India lays out big red line!

This is a new India Doctrine on terror. For years, India has not a conceptual military response to proxy war by Pakistan -the idea of slow bleeding with a 1,000 cuts - beyond wearing it out and this has always given Pakistan a way to get around conventional superiority, combined with nuclear sabre rattling. Now, by drawing a big new red line on terror and how India will respond to cross border terrorist attacks, India is creating a new paradigm. It started with the public surgical strikes after Uri in 2016 (previous governments didn’t make such actions public), went a step up with Balakot in 2019, an entire new dimension with the multifarious air strikes after Pulwama (including in Bahwalpur and Muridke) and now it’s being conceptualised into a new doctrine.

Good move - and shows strategic clarity. more

Any country, not just India, must obliterate terrorism, no questions asked. There is no such thing as redline when it comes to terrorism. more
कुपुत्रो जायेत क्वचिदपि कुमाता न भवति ॥ Due to our misfortune, Pakistan emerged out of Akhand Bharat in 1947. As per Adi Sankaracharya 's above Shlok, the child can be wrong but never the mother. In other words, India cannot be wrong ever. Its Pakistan that is to be blamed for all the problems. It's high time India reclaim back PoK after eliminating all the terrorists in PoK and driving out all the people in PoK. Happy Mother's day to all. more
How this new doctrine going to be effective? Terrorists attack, India mobilises its forces, do all the preparations (as we saw this time) and destroys army and terrorist camps and comes back. After some time, again terrorist activities start, India waits for some big strike and again mobilises its forces, and attacks and this cycle repeats. What we achieve with this? No stoppage of terrorism, incurring heavy cost and few lives, keeping whole country on the edge frequently, investors running away due to unstable environment, distraction from development activities etc. I don’t know what was the whole objective of initiating this operation if we were to agree for ceasefire so soon without bringing Pakistan to its knees completely more
