Waste Segregation

Sir/Madam,

Belated Happy New Year to you

We really appreciate your prompt response to our request. Even I received two bins Green and Blue. I also segregate waste at my home but there are two points which I would like to make

1. When we were given these bins we were not told two bins are for what purpose. Since I am following Local Circles I was able to understand but many of my colony residents do not know why two bins are given. Hence request to train the Municipality Staff to tell the residents before giving which bin is for what purpose.

2. Trolley in which the segregated waste is taken is mixing all the dump into one both biodegradable and non-biodegradable. There is no segregation compartment in the trolley provided for collecting waste. Request you to provide a segregation compartment inside the trolley and train the municipal staff how to use the segregation compartments and how important and necessary it is to follow it. more

We at Shalimar Apts. have achieved over 95% in segregation of wet and dry waste. All medical waste is disposed off into a separate bin with a Red cross. MSGP collect our garbage at least 26 days in a month. They do not mix the segregated waste and transport same to their facility in Doddabalapur more
Even the Literate person damn care about the segregation, Then reluctance to follow is the major impediments in implementation. more
Public to be educated about the purpose of segregation of the waste by issuing band bills, Welfare association meetings and awareness campaign by students etc. Public involvement is necessary to make the scheme Swachh Bharath a success more
Pl Contact Krishan Mitroo for further progress at ph. # 0-9971144399 Thanx. On Sun, Jan 8, 2017 at 7:51 AM, Ananth Jayaraman < support@localcirclesmail.com> wrote: > more
