https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/80-per-cent-citizens-support-linking-aadhaar-with-voter-id#.YcBr8vdX4lQ

If the govt uses it to remove fake voting it will be good. Hope they dont use it on surveillence of aam aadmi. That will be bad. more

Can some authority help me obtaining correct VOTER CARD, as since 20vyears tirelessly unsuccessful in obtaining a correct voter card, despite submitting documents several times . I am a senior citizen hence this requirement. more
It is really painful. None is Serious on this. Aadhar Linkage definitely entiles issuance of Voter ID more
It is a good decision but there is need to re-check the genuineness of all Aadhar Cards. Many people have got 2 such cards. Re-verification and updation should be done priority to weed out ineligible holders of such cards. Citizenship carries no value if a person is availing all facilities of an Indian citizen. more
Citizenship must be implemented removing foreigners more
As I far as I know, Aadhar card is given to all residents in India regardless of their citizenship (much like the Social Security number in USA except that Aadhar has biometric link). You need one if you want to reside in the country, to do banking. purchase property and so on. The fact of citizenship is not mentioned anywhere. Best to give Aadhar card of a different colour to foreigners residing in India. In WB all Rohingayas would have been gifted ration cards, aadhar cards, voter cards etc. as a part of didi's vote-bank. Will this linking identify them? more
Citizens under Articles 5 to 10 only are Eligible for Ration and Aadhar Cards. Infiltrators and immigrants Shall not be treated as regular Residents/ Citizens.
Citizenship must be Implemented and the INFILTRATORS IMMIGRANTS REFUGEES SHALL BE TREATED SEPARATELY UNDER INTERNATIONAL Mandates. more
Will linkage of Aadhar with Voters Id give extra mileage to the government for keeping so called surveillance on our people. Isn't the government capable enough to carry out the so called surveillance without linking Aadhar & Voter ID from the Aadhar data already available with them, if so desired? more
Linkage of Aadhar to Voter ID shall not be voluntary. India must have either Citizenship Card or Aadhar Card Compulsorily to curb Fiscal Frauds and Crimes more
Quoting from UADAI webpage: Aadhaar number is devoid of any intelligence and does not profile people based on caste, religion, income, health and geography. The Aadhaar number is a proof of identity, however, it does not confer any right of citizenship or domicile in respect of an Aadhaar number holder. more
