Health insurance premium increase

The reliable Indian Express paper is quoting our circle survey and saying that health insurance premiums for 52% people who have personal policy have risen by 25% or more in last 12 months.

Can people please share how much theirs has increased since Covid or in last 12-24 months please.

I have an inkling that post covid and vaccination these insurance walahs have data that is indicTing high risk and that is why they are jacking up these premiums. Data that Govt may have but probably its not sharing

Everyone’s premium input and opinions please more

Non Pensioner Senior Citizens are the WORST AFFECTED People. I think this Govt is TOTALLY INSENSITIVE to the plight of Non Pensioner Senior Citizens. more
This government has squeezed the elderly people who have retired from Private sector by decreasing interest rates and increased inflation. Many of the government schemes are for poor people and the marginally better off people can not get the benefits because they are not politically connected and too proud to ask for freebies. So govt. should exempt the senior citizens from the GST on all their health insurance policies more
In fact Govt. is having Lot of Opportunities to Generate Employment as well as Income in Medical Field. But Buddhe Lok can;t to anything . They will depend on ISA , IPS Officer /Peoples, where they will mesh the things. If You want to damage or derail good organisation. Put these peoples there. It will start automatically. more

My son aged 42 now has a health policy with Care. In 2021 he paid ₹54500 for 3 years. He has renewed it now same policy is ₹ 58650/-. I don't think much raise as he is also aged by 3 years. Where is 25 % increase? more
