Voter id challenges faced by people

Many of you have been writing about the challenges faced with voter ids especially those who applied and couldn't get it or those who tried to get an address changed. The challenge faced by citizens is not just voter id but ensuring that their name is in the voters list where they reside.

The circle survey (link below) nicely brings out the root issues which if addressed according to participants can lead to increase in voting by 10%. LocalCircles will be sharing this with Election Commission leadership so some action can be taken to speed up the process of processing voter id applications and have a positive impact on polling.

1. Some of my colleagues have 1 voter ID in village and 1 in city.
Of course, they voted only once, on April-18th.. So not an issue.
2. A number of labourers were unable to vote as they were unaware that their voter ID has been generated, plus they work as a nurse in the city and are unable to go back to their home town during election day.
Going forward, Can they vote online, using a mobile App? more
It is typical bureaucratic way of working (as if it's never ending ) process. Solution is on line process free from human intervetion more

many existing voters name has been deleted either by delebarate action or by ignorance of EC. why such an idiotic steps has not been corrected even at the last stages of election process? Please rectify the miatakes as early as possible, to enable all the eligible voters to exercise their basic rights. Mine and many others votes has been vanished - frm the voters list and the inaction is so thick skinned. more
I have requested for change of name , correct date of birth and address one month but so far I have not received the corrected voter ID card and election in my constituency is scheduled on 12/05/2019.
ECI is really slow like passenger train in completing their own task for which they are bound to do. more
