Visa Challenges faced by Indians - Inputs Sought

Many of you have written about visa challenges that Indians face when planning overseas travel. With this post we would like to seek your inputs on the various issues you and your family members have faced in the last few years in securing a visa. This may include issues regarding business, tourist, study, dependent, or temporary work visas. It may also include issues of time taken, process, cost, rejections, delays, inaccuracies, etc.

Once we have all the issues documented, we will have a separate discussion on solutions and take them up with Ministry of External Affairs so whatever feasible can be done.

We look forward to your inputs! more

Though I do not have any personal experience of travelling abroad and visa requirement, what I think that here with specifically make a mention that participants should talk specific about Indian Visas or Foreign Country Visa. What I observe by the postings here is that participants are talking about the visas issued by the foreign countries alone. more
