Vaccine Adverse Event Data from India

Assuming that this is not the cardiac arrest and brain hemorrhage deaths and medium long term aide effexts and only ones right after the Covid vaccines were administered, they are still sizable.

The UK is compensating disability at £120,000 per person under Consumer Protection Act. Should India do the same and the money come from the vaccine makers? more

There was no need of these products in the first place. And I find it funny that people are throwing doubts on the data provided by the biggest pimp of the vaccines, the Govt. itself. I guess one needs to experience the adverse effects first hand to cure the denial mentality more
Idea is good for a responsive citizen friendly govt but establishing the fact that before the covid the ailment did not exist to prove is not going to be easy.Once govt announces then our politicians will make hay and doctors also saying this ailment did not exist .It is easy to say but a strong mechanism needs to be there otherwise it will not serve the purpose it is intended for. more
A clear link between Covid vaccination and debilities need to be established to act on what UK does. more
The data set is not significant to assume that the vaccines caused life threatening situations. This seems to be more from presumption and hearsay. more
Please show us the data set which necessitated the use of the so-called vaccines in the 1st place for such a low-severity & miniscule mortality disease like Covid more
Not all "Reported" cases of AEFI were truly directly related to COVID-19 vaccines. Some of the presumed cases of AEFI were pre-existing problems, which are marked as AEFI. Without having exhaustively investigated and segregated case of adverse effects, it would be wrong to talk about compensation. Also, when you consider the cost of the vaccines given to the people, there would not be any real surplus to sitribute as compensation. On the other hand, hade these alleged AEFI not been vaccinated, there would have been a marked uptick in the COVID cases and many more cases of Deaths or ICU admissions, which would make the AEFI cases look insignificant. If insurance or compensation is insisted upon, the vaccine manufacturers would factor that into the sale price and, possibly, make the vaccines beyond reach of the common man. Also, it would be a big burden on the Government if they had to pay compensation. If you compare COVID vaccine price to Flu shots price the difference is huge. Flu shots cost about 300% more than COVID vaccines. more
