UTS App-Senior citizen -Option-Reg.

If we book any ticket via UTS app i.e. unreserved express tickets senior citizen option is not available. I request railway authorities ( IT personnel) to make Senior citizen option also may be included. Because aged people cannot stand in a long queue to purchase a ticket.Probably Railways would have thought that as it non remunerative that's why they would have purposefully left. Railways consider the above request and burden on senior citizen may please be reduced. more

There are lot of Sr. Citizens who are wealthy & do not require any concession. But Since it is getting , Rich are also taking advantage. If really poor then the person can go to window & take ticket.There is separate window for sr. citizen or else spend 30 % extra & get ticket. In reality it is Non Revenue option for Railway because carrying young people, child , adult & sr. Citizen the cost of transportation is same. It is not related to age Factor. It is the Foolish gift to Railway from Govts. to get Vote & popularity. Rly. should be taken under corporate sector. The whole Tariff / fare rules need to changed. more

Railways are least sensible to Senior Citizens problem.Atleast thay can provide bottom berth to them and reduce their misery. more
