Urgent need for Grocery Delivery Standards

Just had a bad experience yesterday with Big Basket where worm infested and way past expiry date sweet corn was shipped to us.

Recently also came to know someone in the neighborhood received spinach with a dead rat in it.

Its critical that between BIS and FSSAi we figure out standards for grocery delivery. If these are not done, this industry will have difficulty growing.

If you have experienced issues with grocery or milk, food delivery let us share and then we can hopefully get these 2 organisations to come forward and set standards. more

I never rely on these people nor on their door delivery system, which is done at no extra cost presumably to exhaust their accumulated stock irrespective of their quality. Rather, visit a nearby standard shop, select the required items after self verification and carry along with. This will save you from wasting time in complaining as also facilitate in saving some money. more
For every thing, there can not be standards. But items delivered and if found defective, it should be received back. more
At Bigbasket we have the facility to return any thing at the time of the delivery it self with out assigning any reason. The very next moment refund will be effected to our account. Any complaint to Customer care is being attented then and there. It's my experience.
