Railways has made some changes and issued this latest details on train travel and schedule for travel starting tomorrow. more

The Railways have started with Rajdhani services....good to start with...but if maintenance and upkeep get back to status quo, then we will be waiting for a potential disaster....the Railways need to augment the front-line staff and technical personnel and be ruthless against any deviation from SOP....we can no longer return to the old ways of Rajdhani services BC more

Noted. But it looks too scary. The epidemic is peaking only now in India and opening up at this juncture appears dangerous. Our facilities for testing, isolation, institutional quarantine and home quarantine is too little. Even the apparent success stories of Goa, Manipur, Kerala etc will be history is commercial train services start operations. It will be very difficult to monitor passengers in commercial trains. Flights are relatively easier to monitor but it is not a common man's means of transport. more
