There should be a stop to this entirely. But the root cause is the culture of goondaism and political /personal vendetta where people do not want to be traced am sure the police has a good enough intelligence system to stop this entire "industry".Clamp down with serious punitive consequences. more
Governance in the Country shall be Constitutionally bound. President of the Nation and SC to put an end to Politically backed MISUSE, NEGLECT IN ENFORCING LAWS OF THE LAND realizing the need of reasonable restrictions too at National Interest please. more
There are extensions to this issue the first one is being discussed as unlicensed weapons . The second and most important is the use of sharp edged traditional weapons - swords, knives , coconut openers, harvest sickles, other varieties like daggers . The restrictions is not applicable for sikhs who have a symbolic ‘ Kripan ‘ of a small size less than 6”. But most of fatal attacks are by usage of non gunepweapons which do have restrictions of length but none adheres to the length and even possession. Check must be vigorous on all sharp weapons in the market .Traditional weapon carrying even ,for religious purpose must be banned. It is time that concentration on unlicensed guns branded, local and crudebombs making must be increased . In AP ,Punjab,UP, Bihar and all border states are to be fished for once in a big way . Cancel licence for people who do not require but keep it for prestige, ancestry inheritance, royalty and they must cancel and seize them as a rule . Next restrict licensing by DCs . Lastly why only election time seizures, doit all round the year. Hunting weapons can not flourish in non forest areas as they are misused after possession in the name of hunting. Religious sensitive areas must be made ‘gun free’permanently. more
THESE SUCH ARE THE OUTCOMES OF WILLFULL FAILURE OF POLICING. IPC AND POLICING MUST BE REVIEWED more
This has become an Industry. Naxals have interaction in many places where FOUNDRY/FABRICATION existed. Even Vijayawada City Autonagar had contacts while this Technician prepares here take to Rural Village Goundry and Assemble. Like this there are Industries indulged in this practice . SMUGGLERS ALSO I THINK DUMPING IN. Smugglers of Forest Produces , Natural Land Treasure ALSO HAVE NEXUS being backed by some ill-full Politicians. more
Why do citizens need to carry or keep weapons ??? If under threat , let police provide protection. Further: 1) Criminals can be prevented from being born or nurtured with job creation. Skill India, start up india etc etc can be encouraged. 2) Accept it or not, the seeking of Arms licences is from the rich and famous only. Also used as a status symbol, rather than a real threat... So the more we develop, the more licences we need to dole out.... in a few decades, if we do well.... we can become USA... arms available freely... do we need to be that? 3) It is a hell of a job to prove your innocence or the use of the licensed arm for self protection.... God forbid there are casualties. No gun policy should be adopted. more
Even if they act, that action is not allowed to be transmitted in the implementation area. So, figure out a method to solve this basic problem, the rest will fall in its place by itself. more
