Faridabad will only become a smart city when both Adminsitration and Citizens have a role to play and stay engaged to make it happen. more

At bottom of pyramid of work to be done is cleanliness and top is online availability. If we can have these two done, change would be visible. And lot can be achieved as many of wish list tasks are linked to these. more
right to service has to be implemented 100%. all authorities have to be accountable for the work they do and dont do. tremendous amount of work needs to be done on roads, local city transport, water, sanitationon, traffic management, congestion, health service, education et al. Concrete roads being made these days are without any thought to water drainage. there is no thought for pedestrians as there is no space for them to walk. there are no footpaths. these roads are prone to accidents. there is no transport available for inter-sector connectivity. city bus is for namesake as it plies only on mathura road. one has to only depend on autos or rickshaws. autos itself are a nuisance. they are source of huge pollution. they are highhanded. they stop or park anywhere and create congestion. something definitely needs to be done to curb menace of stray cattles, dogs and monkeys. cow owners should not be allowed to leave their animals on roads or markets. they should be fined for doing so. population of dogs and monkeys needs to be controlled by by sterilisation. on people's side, awareness campaigns should be launched on cleanliness, maintainence of public property, spitting, smoking, littering etc. these should be made punishable offence. more
Water drainage must be treated first of all more
In Faridabad, governance and government are not visible clearly. People r very tolerant with broken roads, insanitation, no control on public services. Why not every Body like Municipality, Health, Police, Education , Civil supplies etc., have their visits to every colony and with sign boards for contacting for any type of grievance. Discourage private agencies for above activities and promote governmental institutions. So that the government machinery is for public use and efficiency improves. Even public should also have commitment that it is our city and our government from our tax money and start using and improve the facilities with constructive and concrete steps. more
