Bias towards CGHS beneficiaries at Asian hospital
Asian Hospital in Faridabad has started this practice whereby they do not allow CGHS beneficiaries to get an appointment for OPD consultation. As per their staff, CGHS beneficiaries have to walk-in for consultation but will not be given appointment at a designated time. Without the facility to get an appointment a patient will have to spend a lot of time in meeting a doctor. It appears that the hospital wants to discourage CGHS beneficiaries because they do not bring in much of the revenue for the hospital. This is a clear case of bias and must be addressed.
If the hospital is not ready to roll back such a move, I urge the concerned authorities to take strict action against the hospital. more

A few years ago this practice was started at Metro hospital also, they would allow CGHS patients only between 1 and 2 pm but it was rolled back. I have raised a complaint with Govt. Public Grievance Portal - https://pgportal.gov.in/ lets see if anything happens.. more

All private institutions like hospitals and schools always avoid government directives. These institutions has become money churning machines and all human aspects are kept aside. I am taking up the matter higher up in Chandigarh. more

It is very bad on the part of Asian Hospital DIRECTOR CGHS AND DG CGHS may kindly take strict action against Asian Hospital in case Hospital deny to give proper treatment after seeking appointment or refuse to give appointment to any patient. more
