Tortured by DHBVN (electricity departmet)
Hi..I received a bill for unexpected amt of Rs, 29,396/- by DHBVN however, my normal bills are in range of rs. 6000--7000. I have raised multiple complaints & had meeting with CGRF (electricity appeal board), but no resolution since last 2 months time. Every officer in that dept. talks different & no action. Their statements & actions are not realiable ever.
I have put complaints in CM window as well, but DHBVN closing it with fake documents/statements.
The issue is due to last year (2020) they made only one time of meter reading in Jan, 2020 (no meter reading after that). Since its clearly departments fault, but they are not ready to listen. If someone can assist further me on this, would be welcome. Thanks. more

I have faced the same problem. The reading written in the bill was thrice the actual reading on the meter. After a number of complaints the engineer came along with L&T person as L&T has supplied these meters. They realised that the SIM inside the meter was sending faulty reading to the central metering office in Hisar and hence even after 5 follow ups they were not correcting the bill. I believe it is high time all the public utilities service should be privatized. Why the common man has to run endlessly to get the issue resolved caused by incompetency of people who are not fulfilling their basic duties. If issue is not there than they should provide relevant prove to person. more

Same thing !!! they have not taken meter reading this time for my house and given very less bill approx one fouth . Next time it will be very high due to unit consumption slab. I aslo approached and answer received is not satisfactory. more

Mr. Kapil try and approach through your RWA. Number of people getting together and going to DHBVN office should put some pressure on these officials. It works at times. more
