Top 3 issues in Gurgaon
Please share your inputs from a Gurgaon stand point. Colony level I believe you have colony/sector/society level circles available and can be addressed there.

Make this a model city for other cities in the country to follow. Good roads pavements, cycle paths, public transportation, street lighting, traffic free zones near shopping areas, housing for the labor and domestic workers, parks, play grounds, small local markets, arts and culture centers, good Govt hospitals besides the private ones, visible policing including for traffic, an efficient public readdressal system, and lastly not let the builder lobby take over and over populate the city and build everywhere. Ensure the Aravali and other forest area is protected. more

Issue no.2 is that of water. Can't the abundant water that flows onto the roads during rains be stored for later use? It can be used for groundwater recharge. Such use of rainwater will also prevent flooding on the roads. more

Many city roads can be observed to be worked on repeatedly, while others are not repaired at all. A main road recently unnecessarily was scraped and is being relaid, at great trouble and surely costs. Similarly the golf-ex road. Isn't it possible to have long-term solutions for good roads? There are many examples of roads that haven't needed to be worked on for many years. Surely technology can resolve this issue and have good roads that retain smooth surface, and do not get submerged in water. This is issue no.1. more

I live in Palam Vihar and I feel that in India most of the arrangements are on ad_hoc basis and this is mentality of Government as well as most of Indian Citizens. Whenever any problem creeps in - one law is made to address it, not visualising after effect of it. We have accelerated our speed faster than our resources. Every development should be done considering next 50 years and not just 5 years or just before election to impress voters. Political parties should not have power to make new reservations, incentives, subsidies. This is not there personal fund. It is fund of all tax payers who work hard, why it is diverted from infrastructure development to people who are not willing to work. more
