Three Wheeler menace in Faridabad
By this mail the attention of the Commissioner of Police ( Traffic) is solicited.
The residents of Faridabad are facing the three wheeler menace now a days on the roads of Faridabad. Any one can observe that all the new three wheeler which have been running on the roads are being driven by the under age drivers. Even the vehicles are not registered with Deptt of Transport. Most of the three wheelers are plying on Temporary numberes which can not be traced in case of any misconduct or mis-happening. The drivers are not having proper licence and are not even being objected by the traffic police of Faridabad. It is being said that all such three wheelers are being supported by big guns like MLA, Councillors as these are the vote banks for them.
Just think for good civilization before making faridabad a Smart City.

I fully agree with Shri Yogesh Chandra but see the population depending on this business. Even mannual rickshaw wala has also suffered with exention of metro. Therefore some viamedia is to be evolved . No doubt feeding bus service to metro is going to be better choice . In my view we should identfy auto rickshaw area wise preferably near to their place of living and have two tier system 1. Plying on shared basis on the identified rouites 2. on the basis of indivisual passenger/ and his family.The charges are to be fixedby the govt on meter basis. more

if no good alternative is available, we are forced to depend on autos whatever they charge. minimum charge per pessenger is Rs 10/- where they fill 8-10 people and drive dangerously. ideally, there should be mini buses connecting metro with interiors of sectors. city bus service plying on mathura road does not cater to internal areas of sectors. more

As Metro has started autos especially CNG should start plying from Metro Station on meter basis to enable people to reach their homes in sectors. more

These three wheelers are owned by lawyers and policemen. Hopefully with metro now operating in Faridabad, these three wheelers will be little regulated. But, they have been a boon to this city. Else, in absence of any other mode of commuting, our life would have been little more miserable. more
