The heating-up of the NCR
North India,and specifically,the NCR is experiencing searing heat,the likes of which I haven't seen for many years. I can imagine that one of the "usual suspects" is the progressive and rapid de-greening and deforestation of the NCR .In the light of that fact,forget touching green lungs such as the Aravali Biodiversity Park,we should seriously be greening up Delhi-NCR in a big way. more

The indiscriminate building activity permitted by successive state govts by converting agricultural land and deforestation is the most important point to be tackled . The need of urban housing is exaggerated by builders and socialogists and some full stop at some stage must be put and permissions should be stopped for real estates in some cities ans towns. Other causes are of course to be tackled so that the temperatures are not exceeding the tolerable limits for humans in parts of India. more

Increasing Population need Land on the Fertile Land/Earth only for life-lead. DTCP and UDA norms must be enforced demolishing and penalizing Constructions went against to these norms. People and the Environment, Climate will be Livelihood friendly ONLY IF THE THEN CONSTRUCTION POLICY Ground + 1 or 2 followed. But, is impossible. So, to be faced . Such new developments like Drilling Bores and removal of waters instead of Wells , Removal of Gas from Earth and See etc., together with the adverse effect of Chemical effluents/Smokes ARE THE REAL ROOT CAUSES and we have to face. more
