The Govt is banning pvt cryptocurrency

Heartening to see how many times the Govt listens to our circles. The attached has just been listed in parliament and Govt is keen to prohibit or ban crypto currency in India. Great move. more

It should be banned. If Only RBI is launching Its own then it is good. & this account should be linked with all Personal details . Unless No Body is able to use it. more

The harm Cryptocurrencies trading can cause overall in the society is much much more than what it can bring as revenues through capital gains, gst etc. This is bound to addict youngsters and it can cause major social damage. It fuels greed for quick money making. It makes people continuously spend hours and hours of being online and making trades imagining they are poised to make something big. More harmful than drugs. more  
It won't be a surprise if ban is proved ineffective. more  
Yes People r so reluctant and habituated to Profiteering more  
Its a belated but right decision. Gambling in all forms including forward treading in commodities, Futures & Options trade in shares asap. SEBI must investigate how many traders are losing money and just 3-5% making huge profits by manipulating the trades. more  
Blackmoney , income and Wealth will be concentrated and goondaism grows with Private Cryptocurrency. Wealth Concentration is injurious to Public Economy.
Articles 38 and 39 ( removal of Economic inequalities ) specifically contemplated in Indian and other Constitutions more
