The case of the road that just about disappeared
Yesterday evening I happened to be on Palam vihar road or should I call it a non-road.An appalling state of affairs!All around us come monsoon( after monsoon),transportation,commuting becomes a misery .This because we have failed to plan our towns and suburbs for drainage et all.The other malady-corruption-has taken care of road surfaces that don't last. Where is the governance?Where is the administration? more

Carter puri road is a classic example - there are three portions one where some concreting was done but surely corrupt officials ate half of cement, and then a portion where concreting was done by Maruti - a portion perfectly done with best quality; and third portion is where corrupt officials are only doing filling work which is best course to eat money as every rain washes out what was done and the road is again ready for fill - the PWD is making money and side by side showing that they are always on the job. Municipal corporates and Education Minister use this road daily but no body compares honest work with continuous corrupt work. Public is true Bharat Ratnas as they still call themselves Bharti after tolerating this nonsense day in day out. A question arises are we also corrupt in some other field where somebody else might be pointing finger at us. If we are honest then how come who out of who sit in power becpme corrupt. Why blame PM or CM or Governor? Mr. Sarup asked definition of Governance..yes this word is a bad word which smells of power and as we know power corrupts absolute power corrupts absolutely. In above case Goverment and non Govt parties are involved. You can see in case of Non Govt there is an honesty as there is no Governance it is only Seva, while in the other there is corruption as there it is Governance activity. Thus OurPM is right when he calls himse Pradhan Sevak and not Pradhan Governor. more

I am residing in Gurgaon since last 5/6 years, and observed that there seems to be no effective supervision on construction work of Roads in the city . I have seen that once the road is repaire it can,t sustain a little single Rain of very less intensity, after the rains these roads are again repaires with huge public money, again and again.No one feels his responsibilty. there seems to be a continous chain of corruption at every level and no one feels his responsibility. There is lack of Planning/co-ordination /implimentation.it seems that every officer is worried about his share,so is the condition of Public representatives-as called VVIP politiciations.Result of that now a day every citizen feels ashamed to be resident of this Milaneoum city. Honble C.M. please see where is Good governance.......? more
