Painful always after passing stool. Bleeding occurs occasionally only around 40% of the times. more  
ALL THESE GUIDANCE are worth taking the benefit. Is it blind, dry or bleeding and painful after passing the stools? more  
the choice of surgery depends on the condition/grade of hemorrhoids (commonly called piles) , from simple rubber band ligation , sclerotherepy (called inj treatment) to hemorrhoidectomy as well as stapled hemorrhoidectomy. while first two can be done in opd the other are done in ot u/ga more  
hi rajiv ji, piles surgery is an outpatient treatment where patient is discharged on the same day. recovery from surgery depends on person to person and can take 2 weeks to 2 months. let me just tell you that recovery from surgery is very painful and one should opt for surgery only if it is absolutely necessary . more
