Summer internship
Hi everyone, I hope this is the right place to post this - My son who is pursuing graduation from Narsee Monjee, Bombay, is looking for a 2 month internship offer in May - June in Delhi. He's doing BBA and will complete his 1st year this April. He needs this internship as a part of his curriculum. Any one aware of a company who offers short term internship to students ? Please suggest. more

I am not sure of this - contract positions are different from internship for students - check this out. I have worked for 34 years in large IT organizations including MNCs. Most large organizations have stopped giving internships to students as they feel they invest in a person which is wasted for them as the student may eventually take up a job in some other organization. Internships are typically given to students selected for a job in the organization from the campus - most well known organizations follow this route. I know it is tough on the students - it may be best to check out smaller organizations who may provide internship to a student with the intent of making them work for the organization interest for 2-3 months. more

Hi Salona, tell him to apply to American Express- Gurgaon, they have 3 months contractual positions, similarly other MNCs also offer them.
