Bis - u are responsible to make sure helmet makers are following standards. That is not happening.

See the substandard products available in Noida.

Why are you guys not doing raids and closing down such manufacturers or upgrading them.

Be accountable. more

Helmet is for our safety and there should not be any compromise in the standard. more
What action has been taken by these police authorities against manufacturer or seller of such helmets? more
In India, rampant corrupt systems allowed to prevail. Quality of Indian population is awfully poor n unable to elect honest n deserving candidates to form the Govts. Unless we Indians behave responsibly n prevent today's dirty politics being a business, nothing can improve. We need honest good governance n clean n efficient administration which is possible by electing only those interested to serve the society with honesty, nobility, humility, discipline, decency n commitment with dedication. Until then, sadly this is how our country will be n perhaps, even progressively keep worsening. more
If inferior products with BIS marks are sold in market, BIS authorities should provide seals or holograms. BIS inspection authorities should conduct random inspection at the selling out lets, and if they find products, which are inferior, the license of the manufacturer to be seized and by imposing heavy penalty. more
I wish the authorities concerned take note of the sentiments expressed in the above posts by the citizens. more
