Standards for single use plastic replacement products
As many single use plastic products get replaced like straws, cutlery, polythene, People are trying different alternatives. For example people are making disposable plates and bowls spoons etc with various materials and we dont know whether they are safe unsafe, what kind of tempertatures they can withstand.
BIS must come up with standards for different products that can replace single use plastics and then production should be scaled to lower costs.

The Govt should come out with various viable and cost effective alternatives before completely stopping single use plastics.The products like milk and water bottle should have alternatives and the alternative material has to be transparent and economical also. more
Its a good suggestion, needs to be debated and implemented more
Though we can not eliminate its use we can curb its use and should use it only in cases where it is is indispensable or the cost of replacement is exorbitantly high if we want to hand over the earth in hospitable conditions for the future generations more
It is urgent to stop single use plastic disposable syringe.
Glass syringe should come again. more
Remember that glass syringe requires daily disinfections/ sterilizations by following certain long procedures, unless Govt. comes with stringment penalty on this. more
