Standards for Mobile Gaming

There are a lot of mobile games that are making our next generation and even people from my generation addicted to seeing their phone 10 hours a day and 6-8 hours playing such games. Some of these games are designed to fool the consumers and extract money.

Can BIS set up standards for games which dont permit illegal activity, gambling etc.

If I am barking up the wrong tree, please let me know.

But action must be taken. more

Physical activity like sports etc must be encouraged instead of computer and mobile/video games.Physical activity can carry some marks in academic exams. more
Gaming on mobile by children must be discouraged irrespective of the quality or standard thereof, as gaming for 7/8 hours a day will definitely spoil their future as well as adversely affect their health. If a student play games for 7/8 hours a day, when will he or she will make his/her study. Even they will have no time to adequately sleep. more
I don't think BIS can set up standards for games. But restriction or guidelines can be issued by the government to restrict illegal activity, gambling etc. more
gambling is illegal in India. more
