Standards for hotel services
I must share that in last 5 years in India we must have had 30 hotel stays in India, half of them attending weddings events and we really need standards for hotel services in the country.
Everyone does their own thing. When asked even if you complaint to ministry of tourism nothing happens.

Hi It includes infrastructure, food , facilities for the visitors, service (waiters, linen, general cleanliness in common areas, food layout, protection from bugs, wifi enabled, parking facilities and so on), green initiatives, safety, security, facilities for children, day care and ambience. "Standards for hotel services in the country" is a rather vague "term", if I may say so. A hotel has only service departments, so which ones should one address....?? more

do you know all hotels/ banquets demand at least 60% of amount in cash with no receipt . It means you pay officially 40% so you get the services for this amount. since you paid so less so can not make any complaint more

I don't book Banquet for family functions .Bt for the tour gusts . I give a token Advance of 25% guaranteeing a minimum no of guests , as the package charges depend on numbers. And take a receipt with the date, time , and the hall all in the receipt .
At the end a receipt is given with the cost of the banquet to be received & less the advance . It may differ from hotel to hotel . more

Awareness about rule and surprise/regular check is need of the hour. Strict rule and stringent punishment answer to many problem. more
