Standardizing Prices for COVID-19 treatment in private hospitals

(1) Government should release initially a press note and order later to Private Hospitals finalizing tariff for treatment on COVID patient treatment.
(2) Also Government, if require may provide assurance to Private Hospitals to reimburse proportionate difference of the charges of the hospital and the tariff upon submission of requisite documents.

Patients may require / compel to approach Private Hospital as there may not be beds available or non availability of basic infrastructure, staff and amenities.

Govt is directing Pvt hospitals to return excess amount charged to covid19 patient. Earlier it was few experiences by affected patient of different diseases. Due to covid, pvt hospitals have fallen in the eyes of common people. Now the GOI has to act to set right these money sharks. more
Treatment by allopathic doctors is a curse...this fever can be be cured by fasting and diet.First day nutritious rich and Vitamin C rich liquids like Mousambi juice, orange juice, sugarcane juice and tender coconut water and lots of water and rest.second day https://www.tarladalal.com/recipes-for-Home-Remedies-for-Fever-469.Third day kanji enriched with ginger, kadipattha, turmeric. The pharma industry is putting the common man into serious health problems with dangerous drugs.let us avoid it.WE don't need these hospitals at all more
The Tamilnadu Govt. Health Department is attempted to cap inpatient treatment cost for COVID-19 patients at Rs.7500/- will be the maximum charge for a day for treatment in General ward of Private hospitals that offer tertiary care, Rs.15,000/- for ICU care in such hospitals and Rs/ 22,500/- in case whee life-saving equipment such as ventilators are used. Now a days ventilators are manufactured by Indian Auto industries in large quantities and therefore in cases where life saving equipments are used the cost could be reduced much less. Apart, from the above, the caping of charges must be issued by the Govt.of India for uniformity of reates in private hospitals with the Grades specified, since even an ordinary private hopitals will try to charge the same charges. THIS IS AN URGENT ACTION FOR GOI TO DO. more
Nothing better can be expected of governments in such states as Tamilnadu. The charges specified are exhorbitant. more
I subscribe to this request and pray that this must be considered sympathetically. more
Hospital charges should be capped with the direction that no patient should be deprived of treatment. more
