Standard regulations in e Commerce sites

Recently, I ordered one "Glue Gun" from Amazon. To avoid Chinese product I choose "Stanley" make, which is a USA Company. After receipt of the product, found that it is made in China !
In the website of Amazon there is no mention of "Country of Origin" for any products on display.
Is there any regulation in force for the e Commerce sites to mention the "Country of Origin" for all the products in their sites?
There is another issue in this site. If you pay through Credit / Debit Card then the card number is automatically saved. There is no option for not saving the same, which was previously available. The saved Card number can be misused by such sites. more

Card detail should not be saved. There should be option to delete card details after transaction. If the concerned authorities are in this circle, may pl do the needful. Thank you. more

Few months back, Amazon charged Rs.1000/- for Amazon Prime although it was not booked by myself. After receipt of SMS alert, I had to blocked my card and got refund of the amount after several days. It happens with my son also. They deducted 10 dollars. He has also to blocked his card and subsequently got refund and made new card. All such unethical practices are being done by the e-Commerce sites with saved card no. more

The only way to stop "Made in China" products is to bring our standard of education, skills, and governance on par with western standards. But this seems to be a tall order. Till then, we have to suffer. more
