Periodical review meetings with all the Ministers to be conducted so that will come to know who is performing and who are non performers. Non-performers should be immediately removed from the Ministry. The same should be applicable for all the MPs irrespective of political parties. Thanks. more
Last time cabinet Ministers not performing well..to develop rural side.. only concentrate on digital service and increase the bank balance of rich people... At least this time try to improve common people income and distribute the black money to poor people...ok... more
I agree with the view that nonperforming Ministers MUST be changed - relocated or removed. However in my opinion this should also apply to M.P.s. ONE OF THE WAYS FOR DOING THIS MAY BE A CALL BACK MECHANISM. One of the ways to do this is perhaps altering the system of election. Election should be on line in a specified fortnight - for all elected bodies, from Gram Panchayat to Member of Parliament. This would avoid stoppages of decision making on account of "Aachar Sanhita"; security arrangements for booths, EVM stored, etc. Similarly there would be a fortnight every six months later for people to call back their vote and recast to another candidate, if desired, thereby altering the count of votes of such candidates and may alter the elected candidate. This would make every candidate alert to his responsibilities to People of India. RYK more
There has to be performance appraisal for all the ministers on a cycle of 100 days should we wish to see a turn around in India's growth and development. Ministers must be sincere and honest enough in executing various schemes and projects to witness a new India. Agriculture minster must ensure, besides other important executions, planting of trees across the nation and their maintenance over the period of next 5 years so that we get sufficient rains in future. Surface Minister to ensure linking of small rivers atleast within states and neighbouring states. Finance Minister must come out with schemes to incentivise digital payments and remove all charges on such transactions atleast for savings bank account holders. Savings bank account maintained by traders must be excluded from this. GST must have only 2 slabs of tax rates between 5% & 18% and petro products to be brought under GST. Of course this may lead to increase consumption of petro products and esclation in imports tilting the balance of payments which will have a dent in the nation's economy. This needs to be addressed separately. Tax on long term capital gains must be replaced by marginal/moderate increase in STT which will enhance tax collection forthwith. Income tax must be replaced with transaction tax so that every citizen contribute to the exchequer. Currencies more than Rs.500/- must be demonetised and no cash transaction above Rs. 500/- to be allowed. inventory of bullion and currency traders to be taped and monitered for generation of black money. Any tax evaders must be punished very heavily in public to create awareness in citizens mind that tax evasion is biggest crime. Pancard, voters card etc must be replaced with Aadhar card which must be utilised for every transaction. Realty transactions must be thoroughly analysed and probed for suspicious transactions as cash payments/receipts are rampant. By these measures, parallel economy of black money can be arrested in the long run. more
Agreed with comments that Non-performers need to be relocated or replaced, in spite of political considerations. Though this is difficult to implement. doing away with life time perks to Ministers and other elected MPs should be removed forthwith, so that this may provide, albeit a negative, incentive to perform. more
