Skyrocketing Onion Prices

Is there really low production of onion or the great Indian corruption is pushing the prices of onions high? UPA Govt. was accused of complicity with onion traders, but now the NDA Govt. is also doing the same. Onions were exported from China/Pak by UPA. NDA is exporting from Egypt. Are we ever going to be self sufficient in food production? more

Safal is offering Onion for 38 rs per KG.. But challenge is that they get 15 KG per day and people really on the booth early morning can get it . Otherwise Onion is gone in 30 seconds.. more
Ranjit Mishra ji why to worry about all these petty things ?Rajappa TBJS has rightly asked why are we so sensitive about onions? It is just one item of our food.We can live even without onions.Like wise we can live without pulses, rice and other items. After all India is transforming under the able guidance of our PM and his party.Have you not seen the news item that for last consecutive ten months the wholesale price index is falling? Now wait till elections and you will find every thing surprisingly low prices.Till then recite Budham Sharnam Gachhami. more
Onions 70 rupees, garlic 180 rupees, Toor Daal 160 rupees, Masoor Daal 180 rupees, Rice minimum 40 rupees (tooti basmati or any other variety) - why are public so sensitive about all these things? Why can we manage without them? So, that day is not far when poor common people (NDA got votes in the name of bringing down Mahngaai as one of the Achcey Din) of India will have to survive on eating polluted air. Both NDA and UPA are same for the common men and women. In fact, AAP also could not live upto the hype. What do we do - we honest people with no political connections need to leave this country if we want a dignified life for our future generations. We need to educate our children, so that they are fit to work in the developed world and have a life of their own. Not like me, who is at the mercy of corrupt Indian system. more
